What then is creativity ?
It is the ability to generate new and original ideas, through an imaginative and innovative process.

It involves thinking outside the box,
making connections between apparently unrelated concepts, and finding novel solutions to problems.
It is Original, since it is conceived by the originator of such idea.
It is Solution driven and not static.
It is Timeless.
As a designer if all you do is to wait for others to invent while you copy, then you have no business being called a Designer.
That brings us to the characteristics of a designer.
He /She is Curious and persistent due to creativity .
He or she is not complacent because the drive to be creative at all times cancels the mindset of complacency.
Since creativity can be inspired by anything, a designer is not afraid to try new creative ideas so long as the end will be justified.
Characteristics of Creative People
- Curiosity: A desire to learn and explore new ideas and experiences.
- . He or she is willing to always ask questions and is opened to constructive criticism .
Open-mindedness
A willingness to consider different perspectives and ideas.
He or she gather multiple ideas and create one unique result from it.
- Risk-taking: A willingness to experiment and take risks in the creative process .This may attract new and extra cost all the time.
- Persistence: The ability to overcome obstacles and continue working towards a creative goal and willing to learn and unlearn.
Fostering Creativity
- Practice brainstorming: Regularly generate and explore new ideas.
- Explore different perspectives: Seek out diverse viewpoints and experiences.
- Take risks and experiment: Try new approaches and techniques because creativity is not stereotypic.
- Embrace failure: View failures as opportunities for growth and learning Seek Feedbacks
The day you stop getting Feedbacks on your ideas, know that you have not created an idea that solved a problem.
